  • Dayrrl “Dale” Butler, BSC, CA - Director

    Dayrrl began his career as an accountant with the NYC firm of Coopers & Lybrand, CPAs in 1974. He articled with Thorne Riddell (predecessor firm of KPMG) in Toronto, Canada earning his Chartered Accountant designation from the Nova Scotia Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1976. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Economics with minor in Mathematics from St. John's University, Minnesota. He continued his academic pursuits and earned a Novell Certified Engineer designation in 1997.

    Dayrrl is active in a number of professional and civic organizations. He is a member of the Canadian, Nova Scotia, and Bahamas Institutes of Chartered Accountants. A competent ToastMaster, he is the firm's representative on the Bahamas Chamber of Commerce, and holds numerous officer positions in various organizations. He is Roman Catholic, married and the father of four daughters and three sons.

    Dayrrl enjoys fishing, and scuba diving in his spare time.

  • Jerry C. Butler, BSc, MBA, CPA, CA, FCSP, Realtor - Director

    Jerry Butler’s professional experience in business advisory, financial services, public accounting and wealth management spans over thirty years in Washington D.C., New York, the Caribbean, and Europe. He was elected three times as IADB Executive Director since 2004. He previously headed a Bahamas-based financial consultancy practice providing legal, insurance, corporate directorships and business advisory services. He specializes in identifying and executing project investment opportunities in the Caribbean public and private sectors. He also served as Senior Advisor in the Office of the Prime Minister and Minister of Finance.

    Mr. Butler is frequently accessed to provide strategic advisory services on policy and legislative initiatives throughout the Caribbean and Latin America. He is the Founding Chairman of the Caribbean Renewable Energy Forum (CREF), the largest and oldest Caribbean Event for renewable energy stakeholders. He served as Chairman of the Latin American Caribbean Council on Renewable Energy (LAC-CORE) Advisory Board; Consultant on the World Bank Caribbean Entrepreneur (EPIC) SME Program; Deputy Chairman of the Bahamas Securities Commission; and Director of a significant Caribbean insurance company.

    He holds an MBA from the University of Miami (Summa Cum Laude Class Valedictorian), a BSc in Computer Information Systems & Accounting (Magna Cum Laude) from New York’s Manhattan College, and studied law at the University of the West Indies. He is a New York State CPA, a licensed Chartered Accountant, Building Contractor, Financial and Corporate Services Provider (FCSP), Realtor, past President of Rotary Club of Nassau, past Treasurer of Junior Achievement Bahamas, and a Certified IAAF Coach in Track and Field Sports.

  • Anthony ‘Tony’ Butler, BBA, CPA, CA - Director

    Anthony’s professional experience in insurance, business advisory services, strategic planning, financial services, public accounting and human capital management spans over forty years in the Bahamas and Canada. He previously headed Canada’s 3rd largest insurance operation in the Bahamas providing life and health and investment-based products for a variety medium and large companies. He has been at the forefront of providing business advisory and financial planning services to local businesses and individuals. He also served in senior executive capacities in the hotel and tourism sector with responsibility for talent acquisition, retention and human capital management for the largest hotel property in the Caribbean. He holds a BBA from St. Francis Xavier University in Canada. He is a Colorado State CPA and Bahamian Chartered Accountant. Anthony has participated in numerous executive leadership forums including the Small and Medium Sized Strategic Business Development Program at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California. He is an avid golfer and sporting enthusiast.

  • Anthia Butler, BSC - Director

    Anthia’s professional experience in business advisory services, strategic planning, hospitality and tourism, gaming and events production spans over fifteen years in the Bahamas. She previously headed Atlantis’ Live events including all concerts series as well as Battle for Atlantis. Anthia began her career building her own boutique hotel, Garden of Eden, where she was a young female pioneer in the industry. She has been a Ministry of Tourism Host and has served as a Tourism Ambassador, guest speaker and event chairperson for many years. When Anthia isn’t globe trotting, she mentors young adult and teenage females in community service and leadership. Anthia holds a BSC Honors from University of Western Ontario in Canada.

  • Ashton Butler, BSC - Operations Specialist

    Ashton’s Butler’s professional experience in strategic planning, public accounting, hospitality and sales spans over five years in the Bahamas and USA. Ashton’s analyses drive critical business decisions by analysing metrics, designing reports and communicating information to managers and business owners. He has been at the forefront of providing business advisory and financial planning services to local businesses and individuals. His career started with JP Morgan as a Business Analyst. Later he served as both financial and sales analyst at two of the largest Bahamian companies. Prior to graduation, Ashton worked for KPMG, one of the world’s premier consultancy and audit firms, as a Summer Intern where he learned valuable professional skills such as putting the client first and creating them value, customer communications, client privilege skills, conducting audits and due diligence.

    He holds a BSC (Honors) in Political Science with a minor in Business Management from Florida State University in Florida, USA. A former Division 1 student athlete, Ashton knows the importance of results, effort and teamwork. An avid sports enthusiast, Ashton enjoys playing flag football and baseball in his spare time.
